The traditional pony sales were a huge feature of the fair - see Fair History.
The Pony Sales were reintroduced on a very small scale in 2004, but sadly no ponies were sold in 2013 because of no demand for them from buyers. From 2014 there will be no Auction of fur and feathers or tools and collectables taking place either, and Luttrell Farm no longer has suitable facilities for the event.

The Exmoor Pony Society will however be bringing some ponies to the Fair for you to see!
